Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Unsalted butter* (room temperature) – 150 grams
  2. All purpose flour (sifted) – 150 grams
  3. Sugar – 150 grams
  4. Eggs – 3
  5. Cocoa – 25 grams
  6. Fresh Orange Juice – 1 Medium

Instructions

  1. Beat together butter and sugar till it resembles creamy texture
  2. In another bowl, beat the eggs till well done
  3. Combine the eggs with the creamy mixture and beat for 1 minute
  4. Slowly fold in the flour with a rubber spatula and divide this mixture in two parts
  5. In one part add cocoa and mix well. In the other, add orange juice and mix well
  6. Line a 7 inch round tin with butter and dust it with flour – This will avoid the cake from sticking to the mould
  7. Pour the chocolate and orange batter alternatively in the tin, making patterns while doing that
  8. Preheat oven for 10 minutes. Bake at 190 C for 50 minutes
