ABOUT Curry Leaves Jelly RECIPE

I can eat curry leaves in any form but kids? So tried to make something that makes my daughter eat curry leaves. The recipe is so simple and you can prepare it and serve in an hour.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Curry leaves - 1 cup.
  2. Jaggery or Sugar - 3 tsp.
  3. Water - 3 to 4 tsp.
  4. Agar agar or gelatin - 1 tsp.

Instructions

  1. Soak agar agar or gelatin in 1/8 cup of water for 10 minutes , then heat it low flame till agar agar dissolves in water completely. Remove from flame and set aside till use.
  2. Wash and clean curry leaves. Grind them to fine puree adding little amount of water in your food processor.
  3. Strain the juice alone and discard the residue.One cup of curry leaves will yield about 1/4 cup juice.
  4. Add Jaggery to juice and mix well till dissolves. Now add agar agar solution to curry leaves juice and mix.
  5. Grease your moulds with ghee or butter and fill them with mixed curry leaves juice.
  6. Refrigerate the juice for 30 minutes or until set. Remove from moulds and enjoy.
