ABOUT Dates Roll RECIPE

A power packed healthy dessert, without sugar and minimal ghee. It is a bliss for weight watchers too

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Dates 150gms
  2. 2cups assorted chopped nuts
  3. 1 tbsp poppy seeds
  4. 1/2- tsp ghee
  5. 2 tbsp Milk

Instructions

  1. Deseed dates and chop them roughly,
  2. chop all the nuts too.
  3. Grind the nuts to smooth paste by adding some milk.
  4. Now heat pan add ghee and ground paste, nuts and poppy seeds
  5. Keep stirring soon it will became a lump and start leaving the sides of the pan.
  6. switch off flame, take out the mixture and let it cool for 5mins.
  7. Now roll out it in a cylindrical shape, wrap it in silver foil and refrigerate for 2 hrs minimum.
  8. Now cut it into discs of 1 1/2 inch; thickness.
  9. Store in an airtight container
