Ingredients to make Pyaz Matar

  • 1 cup matar
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tomato
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4th tsp red chill powder(degi mirch)
  • 1/2 tsp corainder powder
  • 1/4th turmeric powder
  • Garam masala
  • 1 tsp oil

How to make Pyaz Matar

  1. Take a pan add oil
  2. add chopped onions. saute it
  3. add the colour changes to pink add peas
  4. cover it and cook for sometime
  5. add chopped tomatoes add all dry masalas
  6. saute it
  7. cover it and cook for 2-3 minutes
  8. check the peas if its cooked properly. then sprinkle garam masala and veggie is ready for the lunch box.

My Tip:

To cook peas quickly boil it for 1-2 minutes before adding into pan
