  • 1 bunch basil leaves
  • 250 ml olive oil

How to make Basil Oil

  1. Wash the basil leaves then put them into the grinder along with the olive oil.
  2. Make a smooth puree of this mixture.
  3. Then pour this mixture into a pan and let it simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  4. After this time period, switch off the stove and let it cool down for a while.
  5. Then carefully strain this mixture into a bottle or airtight jar.
  6. Store this oil in a cool and dark place for 1 week before using it to cook.
