Ingredients to make VegetableUpma

  • 1 cup sooji
  • 1 .5 cup mix vegetables
  • I have used carrot,beans,peas and capsicum
  • One onion chopped
  • Green chilies
  • 2.5 cups water
  • grated ginger
  • salt
  • Grated coconut 2 tsp
  • oil
  • sugar 1 tsp.
  • lemon

How to make VegetableUpma

  1. Dry roast suji till it changes colour
  2. Steam all vegetables for 5 minutes
  3. Take oil in a pan
  4. Add mustard seeds and green chilies and ginger and onion chopped and saute for 2-3 minutes. Add all the vegetables and fry for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add suji and salt and sugar and 2.5 cups water.
  6. Mix well . veggie Upma is ready. Garnish with coconut and lemon.
