Kachariyu (Black Sesame Seeds Ladoo)

Ingredients to make Kachariyu (Black Sesame Seeds Ladoo)

  • Black sesame seeds 250 gm
  • jaggery 300 gm
  • ghee 5 tbs
  • Black dates 100 gm
  • almond 50 gm
  • Roast peanuts 2 tbs
  • Grated dry coconuts 100 gm
  • Gundara 1 tbs
  • ginger powder 1tbs
  • Ganthoda or pipara mul powder 1 tbs
  • poppy seeds 1/2 tbs

How to make Kachariyu (Black Sesame Seeds Ladoo)

  1. Dry roast black sesame seeds in a pan on low flame for 2 minutes.
  2. Dry roast grated dry coconuts for 1 minutes
  3. Take 1 tbs of ghee heat it add 1 tbs of Gundara. The Gundara will pop in the pan stir continuously. Remove it from the pan
  4. Grind coarsely the popped gundara first in mixture than almond than sesame seeds. Chopped the Jaggery. Remove seeds from black Dates and chopped it.
  5. Assemble everything in a plate.
  6. Now take remaining ghee in a pan add Jaggery heat on slow flame till Jaggery melts. Turn off the flame. Don't over heat the Jaggery.
  7. Add all the assembled mixture mix it well start making small ladoos.
  8. Eat this Kachariyu daily in the morning take a glass of milk for you good health in winter.

My Tip:

You can also add raw jaggery and ghee in the other processed mixture and make ladoos.
