Purple Cabbage Uttapam

Ingredients to make Purple Cabbage Uttapam

  • Dosa batter - at least 10 ladles
  • Oats - 1/2 cup
  • Suji - 1/4 th cup
  • Purple cabbage - 1 cup ( washed & finely chopped )
  • onion - 1 Finely Chopped
  • curry leaves - 2 to 3 sprigs(cut fine)
  • green chilly - 2 cut fine
  • salt to taste
  • water for the batter
  • oil - 2 to 3 tbsp

How to make Purple Cabbage Uttapam

  1. In a bowl mix all the ingredients except oil and bring to the required consistency
  2. Now take a non-stick tawa and Heat it
  3. When hot pour the batter & spread it in a circle
  4. Drizzle oil over the uttapam and let it cook on low to medium flame
  5. Then flip the uttapam carefully and again drizzle oil on the other side
  6. Cook till nice & crisp
  7. Serve hot with chutney, molgapodi or pickle
