Ingredients to make Chickpea cheese Tikki with Hi Fibre Multigrain Bread

  • For bread
  • bajra Atta - 1 cup
  • Jowar atta - 1 cup
  • salt - to taste
  • curd - 1/2 cup
  • For tikkis
  • chickpeas- 1 cup
  • Boiled potato- 1 medium size
  • Grated carrot - 1 tbso
  • onion chopped - 1 tbsp
  • capsicum- 1 tbsp
  • Roasted cumin powder- 1 tbsp
  • Amchoor powder - 1 tsp
  • salt - to taste
  • coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
  • Paneer or cottage cheese - 3/4 cup
  • oil - to shallow fry tikki

How to make Chickpea cheese Tikki with Hi Fibre Multigrain Bread

  1. Take all the ingredients mentioned for bread and make soft dough ,use water if required
  2. Keep the dough covered with wet cloth
  3. Now boil soaked chickpeas with salt
  4. Combine all the ingredients mentioned for tikkis and make medium sized tikkis and stuff paneer inside . Shallow fry tikkis on non stick pan .
  5. Make small and thick chapati with prepared dough.
  6. Spread green chutney or sauce of your choice on mini chapati and place tikki over it. Garnish with seasonal vegetables

My Tip:

If you have airfryer you can airfry the tikkis by brushing some oil over them . You can add any other vegetables of your choice to tikkis. Ragi atta or besan can also be used for making bread
