Chicken shashlik

Ingredients to make Chicken shashlik

  • Boneless chicken - 250 gms
  • garlic and ginger paste - 2 tablespoons
  • 1 cup - green coriander leaver
  • Green and red capsicum - 1 each
  • Cherry tomato - 6
  • onion - 1
  • 1/2 teaspoon - crushed black pepper
  • Few mint leaves
  • 2 tablespoon - lemon juice
  • green chillies - 3 or 4
  • 1 teaspoon - cumin powder
  • salt to taste
  • 3 tablespoon - olive oil

How to make Chicken shashlik

  1. In a large mixer - grinder, grind the coriander, mint leaves, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, green chilies, back pepper, cumin powder and salt.
  2. Place the chicken chunks and diced veggies in the bowl and rub with the ground mixture. Cover and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours. The longer the better marination.
  3. Preheat the oven at 180°C .Lightly grease a baking dish. Place the chicken in the baking dish, and bake for 20 minutes, turn in between.
  4. After that grill it for 4-5 minutes till the chicken juices run clear. Serve hot!

My Tip:

Do not over cook the chicken as it may get very dry.
