Ingredients to make Mix Veg, Jalapeno Cheela

  • chickpea flour 1 Cup
  • Rice flour 1/4 Cup
  • Flax seed meal 2 Teaspoon
  • salt To Taste, divided
  • water 1 Cup (as needed)
  • turmeric powder 1 pinch
  • ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoon
  • For stuffing--
  • carrot 1 (Julienne)
  • onion 1 ( Julienne)
  • Turnip 1/2 (Julienne)
  • amla 1 (Julienne)
  • Sliced jalapeno pepper 1 Teaspoon ( optional)
  • chilly pwd to taste
  • Pine nuts 2 Tablespoon
  • olive oil

How to make Mix Veg, Jalapeno Cheela

  1. In a large bowl, add in chickpea flour, rice flour, flax seed meal and salt; mix well.
  2. Pour little water at a time to make a thin batter. Season with turmeric powder and ginger garlic powder. Set aside.
  3. In a bowl mix all the ingredients of stuffing, add salt and chilly pwd and mix well.
  4. Heat a heavy bottom flat pan on medium high and pour a ladle full of batter and spread. Cook on one side, smear some oil and flip and cook on the other side.
  5. Flip again and place the stuffing. Fold it and place on the serving plate.
  6. Garnish with pine nuts. Serve and enjoy!

My Tip:

Add vegetables of your choice.
