Ingredients to make Tuar Daal kee khichadi

  • 1 small glass tuar /arhar/rahar dal
  • 2 small glasses rice
  • 3 red chilli dry 5-6
  • 4 garlic 3-4
  • 5 ginger a pod
  • 6 salt as desired
  • 7 asafoetida 1/2 tsp
  • 8 turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • 9 ghee for tempering
  • 10 mustard seeds 1 tsp

How to make Tuar Daal kee khichadi

  1. Take arhar dal and rice.
  2. Wash dal and rice add 4 times water in it add turmeric powder and pressure cook it for 1 whistle and 5 minutes on slow flame
  3. When khichadi is ready prepare the tempering.
  4. Add ghee in a pan crackle musturd seeds red chilli dry and asafoetida.
  5. Add it at once to the khichadi.your yum khichadi is ready
