(toddler friendly} Egg & besan cheela

Ingredients to make (toddler friendly} Egg & besan cheela

  • 1 diced tomato
  • 1/2 diced zucchini
  • 1/2 cup besan/gram flour
  • 1 egg {optional}
  • water {as per consistency desired}
  • salt to taste

How to make (toddler friendly} Egg & besan cheela

  1. Mix water and besan together. Start by adding only half cup of water and increase according to the consistency desired. One the mix is ready, add eggs and vegetables. Season with salt.
  2. Oil a flat non-stick pan with 1 tsp oil. Fill a deep spoon to the brim and spread evenly starting from the centre of the cheela, in a clock wise direction.
  3. Turn the cheela on both sides to ensure it’s cooked properly. You can cut the cheela in shapes of your choice!

My Tip:

For the kids who are fussy egg-eaters, you can add one full egg to this recipe if you wish. You can also add 3-4 diced broccoli florets, 1/2 a diced potato or 4-5 chopped beans to this recipe.
