Ingredients to make Idli Dosa Podi

  • 1 cup Channa dal
  • 1/2 cup udad dal
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds roasted
  • 10 red chilles
  • 1/2 tsp asfoetida
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Small Piece of tamarind
  • salt to taste

How to make Idli Dosa Podi

  1. Take a pan, add oil fry each ingredient separately one by one in oil ,except sesame seeds and salt
  2. Add roasted sesame seeds and salt when cool
  3. Grind coarsely and store in sir tight box

Can use for making brinjal curry

Hi .. We have to roast all ingredients separately in one tbsp oil . Isn't the quantity of oil too less
