Ingredients to make Chicken 65

  • Chicken - 500gms
  • Red chilly powder - 3 tblspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablesppon
  • tomato paste - 1/3 cup
  • tomato ketchup - 1/3 cup
  • Yogurt - 2 tbsp
  • salt as per taste
  • Green chilli - 2 or 3
  • Curry leaves - 10
  • Pinch of garam masala
  • Butter - 3 tablespoon
  • A pinch of sugar

How to make Chicken 65

  1. Marinate the chicken with 3 tbsp chili powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder, little salt and 1 tbsp of lemon juice.
  2. Set aside for 30 minutes to 2 hours. Usually 45 minutes works best (In a hurry) for the chicken to become tender. Fry the chicken.
  3. Prepare the tomato gravy by blending tomato paste, ketchup and yogurt.
  4. Take a pan add 3 tablespoon butter. Saute the curry leaves and chilies for 2 minutes.
  5. Add the tomato gravy. Let it cook for 2 minutes.
  6. Add in the fried chicken pieces. Close the lid and cook for 10 minutes on a low flame.
  7. Add pinch of garam masala, sugar and salt. Close lid and cook on low flame for another 2 minutes.
  8. Depending upon your choice you can either make it completely dry or have some gravy.

I understand, if you take globally, it make contrast, In dubai, particularly najaf hotel only you can get in a gravy format. but original recipie is dry format. But your mom tried very well. good. or change the name into Dubai chicken 65
