Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Amla or indian gooseberry 6
  2. Tomato 1 small , ripe
  3. dates 6
  4. Jaggery 40 gms , melt in hot water and strain
  5. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  6. Dry red chilli 2
  7. Black musturd seeds and cumin seeds together 1/4 tsp
  8. salt as per taste
  9. Chilli powder 1/4 tsp
  10. Water 1 1/2 Cup

Instructions

  1. Boil amla in 1 cup water with salt for 15 mins , discard seeds
  2. Now cut them lengthwise
  3. Chop tomatoes
  4. Now heat oil in a nonstick pan
  5. Add dry red chilli , cumin seeds , black mustard seeds , crackle them
  6. Now add amla , tomato and dates
  7. Add turmeric powder , salt
  8. Cover and cook for 5 mins
  9. Add chilli powder
  10. Add jaggery syrup and water
  11. When the chutney becomes thick switch off gas
  12. Your chutney is ready to eat
