Beef and Vegetable Stir Fry

Ingredients to make Beef and Vegetable Stir Fry

  • Lean rump steak - 300 gms
  • Onion large - 1
  • Broccoli trimmed - 1 whole flower
  • Garlic crushed - 1 clove
  • Snow Peas - 80 gms
  • Chilli flakes - 2 tsp
  • Ginger grated - 1 tsp
  • Soya sauce - 1 & 1/2 tbsp
  • Sherry (optonal) - 1 & 1/2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for sauteeing
  • Water - 1 Tbsp

How to make Beef and Vegetable Stir Fry

  1. Heat a non stick fry pan or wok and spray with oil. Add the sliced beef and stir fry until browned. The put aside on a plate.
  2. In a wok pan, add some oil.
  3. Add in the sliced onions, crushed garlic, grated ginger for 2 - 3 minutes.
  4. Add in the broccoli, peas and some water.
  5. Add in the Soya sauce, some more sherry and finally the fried mutton.
  6. Toss to combine.

My Tip:

For vegetarians this dish works well with tofu.
