ABOUT Mini Chicken Tandoori Pizzas RECIPE

Tandoori Chicken is an all time favourite dish of many . So why not use it as a topping on pizza ? It not only enhances the traditional taste of pizza , but also takes it to a new level . Simple yet elegant . Easy yet delicious .

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 3 cups of all purpose flour
  2. 1/4th cup of milk powder
  3. 1 cup of warm milk
  4. 2 tsp of yeast heaped
  5. 1 tsp of sugar
  6. 2 tbsp of olive oil
  7. Mozzarella cheese
  8. 2 tbsp of oil
  9. 250 gm chicken ; cut into very small pieces
  10. 1 tsp of garam masala
  11. 1 tbsp of tandoori masala
  12. Chilli garlic ketchup or pizza sauce as needed.
  13. Salt
  14. 1 onion ; thinly sliced
  15. Olives
  16. Bellpeppers ( optional )
  17. An egg white
  18. Black seeds ( kalonji ) or sesame seeds
  19. A charcoal piece
  20. A small piece of aluminium foil

Instructions

  1. In a deep bowl , put in the flour and the milk powder.
  2. Warm up the milk and add the yeast and sugar and wait till you can smell it and till it becomes frothy.
  3. Start kneading your flour with the warm milk , preferably with your hands so that it kick starts the activity of the yeast .
  4. Once your dough is done , coat it with olive oil and place it in a warm place and let it rest for about 2 hrs or till your dough rises to double it's original size .
  5. When the yeast is done , knead it once again in order to get all that air out .
  6. In a pan with 1 tbsp of heated oil , add in the chicken .
  7. Put in the masalas and stir till the chicken is done . Lastly , season with salt .
  8. Heat your charcoal piece and place it in a piece of foil . Put it in the pan with the cooked chicken . Pour a tbsp of oil over the charcoal and cover the pan with a lid .
  9. Preheat your oven on 180° .
  10. Take a small portion of dough and flatten it out evenly . Do this till you have finished the entire dough .
  11. Let these flattened out pizza bases rest for another 20 mins or so for another round of rising in a warm place .
  12. Next , spread ketchup and put on the toppings .
  13. Finally , finish the pizzas by topping them with mozzarella .
  14. Bake it in the oven for about 15-20 mins or till the cheese looks melted.
  15. Serve hot .
