Flaxseed Almond Healthy Snack

Ingredients to make Flaxseed Almond Healthy Snack

  • Flax seeds 1 tbsp
  • almonds chopped 1/2 cup
  • dates roughly chopped 1/4 cup
  • Cranberries 1/4 cup
  • Oats 1 cup
  • jaggery 1/4 cup
  • Chocolate chips 1 tbsp
  • Chocolate sauce 1 tbsp

How to make Flaxseed Almond Healthy Snack

  1. Chop the almonds.
  2. Deseed and chop the dates.
  3. Mix all the ingredients, except jaggery and chocolate sauce, in a bowl.
  4. Melt the jaggery in a pan.
  5. Pour the melted jaggery and sauce over the dry mix.
  6. Mix well until all coated with the jaggery and sauce.
  7. Grease a 8x8 inch pan. line with parchment paper.
  8. Pour the mix into it.
  9. Press it tight with a spoon so that its even all across and tighly binded.
  10. Preheat oven at 180 degrees C
  11. Bake for 15 minutes.
  12. Remove from the oven and cool it to room temperature
  13. Let it sit in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  14. Take it out.
  15. Cut into squares or bars
  16. Enjoy

My Tip:

Add cinnamon for added aroma.
