Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. gooseberry 250 gm
  2. jaggery 100 gm
  3. Sugar 100 gm
  4. Salt 1 tsp
  5. Asafoetida a pinch
  6. fennel seeds 1/2 tsp
  7. fenugreek 1/4 tsp
  8. red chilli powder 1/2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. wash and boil gooseberry
  2. Let it cool. separate pieces
  3. Add oil in pan add fenugreek. asafoetida. fennel seeds .
  4. Add gooseberry bites, add salt sugar jaggery red chilli powder add 1 cup water let it cook over slow flame till gooseberry absorbs all liquid
  5. Amla lonji is ready
