Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Almonds soaked about 1/4 th cup
  2. Green cardamoms about 2 tbsp
  3. Sugar 2 cups, 1 cup each for cardamom sherbet and 1 for almond sherbet
  4. Melon seeds a tbsp
  5. Poppy seeds a tbsp
  6. Water half a cup for both separately.
  7. Lemon juice a tbsp (optional)

Instructions

  1. Make sugar syrup of one string consistency with one cup each separately for both.
  2. Make a paste of almonds poppy and melon seeds.
  3. Also in a pot, boil about 1 cup of water with the cardamoms for 5 mins.
  4. Strain and keep aside to cool.
  5. Add this to the sugar syrup once cooled, a dash of lemon juice also if desired.
  6. To the other sugar syrup, add the almond paste and boil on low flame until it thickens a little.
  7. Let it cool.
  8. For the mixing part, just take two tbsp of almond sherbet and half of the cardamom sherbet, mix well and serve chilled with icecubes as desired.
  9. This measurement makes 2 glasses.
