Ingredients to make Lauki Falooda

  • Lauki (bottle gourd) - 1
  • sugar - 8 tsp
  • custard powder 2 tsp
  • Milk 750 ml
  • milkmaid - 2 tsp (optional)
  • badam, pista, and raisins

How to make Lauki Falooda

  1. Cut lauki and remove the seeds
  2. Peel lauki
  3. Grate lauki length wise and keep aside
  4. Keep aside a small cup of milk
  5. Boil remaining milk and keep stirring
  6. Mix custard powder with the cup of milk and stir so that there are no lumps
  7. Add sugar to the boiling milk
  8. add custard powder mix to the boiling milk
  9. let it boil for 5 mins on medium flame
  10. Add grated lauki to the milk and allow it to boil for 10 mins on medium flame
  11. Add milkmaid to it and stir well and switch off the flame
  12. add crushed nuts
  13. Once cooled down, keep it in fridge and serve cold
