Soya Thick Gravy

Ingredients to make Soya Thick Gravy

  • Soya 100gms
  • onion 2 (sliced)
  • tomatoes - 2 (1 chopped, 1 pureed)
  • turmeric powder 1/2tsp
  • chilly powder 1 1/2 tablespoon
  • coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tsp each (optional)
  • salt as to your taste
  • oil 3 tbsp

How to make Soya Thick Gravy

  1. Boil water by adding salt and add soya to the boiled water cook it for 5 to 10 min. Drain it and keep it aside.
  2. Heat a pan, add oil when the oil is ready add the sliced onions add a pinch of salt so that onions gets cooked easily. When the onions are brown in color add the spices one by one.
  3. Cook it well until the raw smell goes. Now add chopped tomatoes and cook it . At this stage you can add salt .
  4. When it is cooked well add the tomato puree and cook it until the raw taste of tomatoes is gone. After sometime, you can see the oil floating on top of the gravy.
  5. Now if you need, add 1/2 glass of water and let it boil. After that add soya and cook it for 5 min.Now the dish is ready.
  6. Serve.
