Wash and Soak Channa for 7-8 hours . Rinse it and pressure cook. Keep 4-5 whistles. When you press Channa it has to be very soft . Once it is done keep aside
Blend onions, tomatoes, cumin seeds, mint leaves to a fine paste without adding water
Now heat oil in a pan and fry blended paste till raw smell goes. Add chilli powder, Garam masala and salt
Fry for another 5 mins . Now add cooked Channa along with the water which we used while boiling Channa.
Cook for another 5-8mins till the gravy coats well with Channa
Add lemon juice and turn off the flame
Add chopped onion for garnishing
This goes well with chapati and poori.
