Ingredients to make Afghani Chicken Kebabs

  • 200 gms chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp gram flour/corn flour
  • 1/2 cup thick yogurt
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp kasuri methi
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • salt to taste

How to make Afghani Chicken Kebabs

  1. Cut chicken breasts into cubes.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together yogurt, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice and oil. Add other ingredients as well and mix well.
  3. Marinate the chicken pieces with this mixture and refrigerate for a couple of hours. You can also keep it overnight.
  4. Skew the marinated chicken pieces and grill them in an oven/grill pan/barbeque.
  5. Serve hot with Mint Dip/Chutney.
