Ingredients to make Drumstick Leaves Stir Fry

  • Fresh drumsticks leaves 2 cups cleaned
  • 2 tbsp grated coconut
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 Red chilles
  • 2/4 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp udad dal
  • curry leaves
  • Asfoetida a pinch
  • 1/4 tsp jaggery
  • salt to taste

How to make Drumstick Leaves Stir Fry

  1. Take a pan add oil put the seasoning one by one
  2. Add the drumstick leaves,add turmeric and salt
  3. Once done add ,jaggery and coconut
  4. Fry for some more time.
  5. Don't cover .cook till done.
  6. Serve with rice or roti. It can also be eaten like a salad.

My Tip:

clean them by removing the leaves only .these are highly fibrous.To be eaten once a week. don't cover and cook. Add very little salt. Very good for health.
