ABOUT Masala Uthappam with Green Chutney RECIPE

Its a masala uthappam with added onions, tomatoes and served with fresh green coriander chutney

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rice flour 1-1/2 cup
  2. Suji 1/2 cup
  3. 1/2 cup wheat flour
  4. baking powder 1 tsp
  5. warm water according to need
  6. Finely chopped onions 2
  7. finely chopped tomatoes 2
  8. chopped green chillies 2-3
  9. chopped green coriander leaves,
  10. Salt to taste
  11. red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  12. coriander powder 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Mix all 3 flours and baking powder strain it well, mix water to make a batter of thick consistency. Add finely chopped onions, tomatoes, green chilies and green coriander leaves.
  2. Mix it well . Now put non-stick pan or tawa on high flame. Drizzle oil and pour batter as per your desire to make round uthappam. Spread it evenly with a round spoon. Now cook well on both sides
  3. Serve hot with green chutney
