Chana Daal Pakora.

Ingredients to make Chana Daal Pakora.

  • chana Daal ( Bengal gram Split) 2 cups
  • ginger grated 2 tsp
  • garlic crushed 2 tsp
  • Green chilli 2 to 5 according to taste.
  • turmeric powder a pinch
  • chilli powder 1 tsp ( optional )
  • Garam masaala 2 tsp
  • coriander leaves finely chopped 1 tbsp
  • Onions Chopped and Sprinkle Salt and chilli. 3
  • oil for Deep frying

How to make Chana Daal Pakora.

  1. Soak Chana Daal for 4 to 5 hrs.
  2. Coarse grind with Green Chillies.
  3. Add Ginger, Garlic, Salt, Garam masaala, Coriander leaves, Chilli powder.
  4. Mix batter well. Heat oil in a pan, when heated add 1 tbsp hot oil to the batter.
  5. Deep fry pakora ( fritters).
  6. Serve hot with chopped onions and a cup of tea or coffee

My Tip:

These Fritters don't need any accompaniment as they themselves taste Yum. But you can eat them with pickled Onions and if you get unripe mango, cut into small pieces and then sprinkle with salt and Chilli.
