Pan Fried Momo with Stir Fried Veggies.

Ingredients to make Pan Fried Momo with Stir Fried Veggies.

  • For momo dough -
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp oil
  • water as need to make medium soft dough
  • For Filling -
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2-3 finely chopped garlic
  • 2 green chillies chopped
  • 1 cup boiled green peas.
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrot
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped beans
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped capsicum
  • 1 tsp oil
  • For Sauce
  • 2 onions finely chopped
  • 2-3 chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp chilli sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tbsp each of cabbage and carrot
  • 1/ 2 tbsp finely sliced capsicum
  • Handful of coriander leaves for garnish
  • salt according to taste.

How to make Pan Fried Momo with Stir Fried Veggies.

  1. First we make dough using flour salt and enough water. The dough should be very soft nor toi hard.
  2. Next we will make filling for momo.
  3. Heat oil and add in onion, green chilies and garlic ,saute this till they turn pink.
  4. Then add all veggies and mix well,.
  5. Once the sweat add chili powder and salt and switch off the flame. The filling will look like this.
  6. Now make small balls from dough and roll it out in such a way that the sides are thin and centre is thick.
  7. Now place spoon full of filling in the middle
  8. Now seal edges by sealing edges as shown in pic.
  9. Now steam this momo for 10 mins.
  10. Now deep fry this momos in hot oil.
  11. Now we will make sauce by sauteing onion and garlic till they turn pink. Now add in all sauces mentioned in ingredient list and adjust seasoning.
  12. Now add veggies to it.
  13. Next add in fried momos and mix well with sauce.
  14. Switch off the gas remove this in serving plate and serve hot and garnish it with coriander leaves.
