ABOUT Fish Pakora/ Fish 65 RECIPE

This makes a good starter for parties as it doesn't need much preparation. The dish tastes excellent with no smell of fish.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Any firm boneless white fleshed fish(I used king fish) - 250 gms
  2. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  3. Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  4. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  5. fennel powder - 1/2 tsp
  6. Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
  7. Corn flour - 1 tsp
  8. gram flour/besan/chickpea flour - 2 tsp
  9. curry leaves(chopped finely)
  10. oil
  11. Salt

Instructions

  1. Remove the skin from the fish and cut it into chunks.
  2. Marinate it with all the above ingredients except oil for 20 minutes.
  3. Heat oil and pinch small balls of the mixture and drop in oil.
  4. Let the temperature of the oil be between medium-low to medium-high.
  5. Fry for minutes until crisp.
  6. Serve hot.
