Chocolate Cupcake

Ingredients to make Chocolate Cupcake

  • 113 grams butter
  • 300 grams sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 grams Flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 70 grams cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • ½ cup yogurt
  • 115 ml water

How to make Chocolate Cupcake

  1. Cream the butter and sugar until they are light and creamy, then add in the eggs, one at a time. Next pour in the vanilla and whisk it well together.
  2. Mix the flour, cocoa and baking soda. Blend together the buttermilk and water.
  3. Add this mixture into the flour and cocoa mix and blend it all together to a smooth, creamy batter.
  4. Line a cupcake tin and fill it a little over half. Bake at 200 degrees Cesius for 20 minutes or till firm and a skewer comes out clean.
  5. Serve warm with a topping of your choice.
My Tip: You can use chocolate ganache or fresh, sweetened cream for the topping.
