Ingredients to make Hariyali Gajar Matar

  • carrot 250 gms
  • peas 250 gms
  • onion 100gms
  • tomatoes 2( medium)
  • turmeric powder 1 1/2 tsp
  • chilly powder 1 tsp
  • ginger-garlic paste 1 1/2 tsp
  • coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder 1/2 spn
  • Garam masala powder 1/2 tbsn
  • salt
  • coriander leaves

How to make Hariyali Gajar Matar

  1. Peel peas and cut carrot into thin long pieces.
  2. Take oil in a pan and shallow fry the carrots and keep it aside.
  3. Put onion in oil and saute till it becomes transparent. Add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, black pepper powder, tomatoes ,salt and saute for some minutes.
  4. Add peas ,chopped carrot and garam masala powder and saute.
  5. Put enough water and cover the lid and cook for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves .
