ABOUT Bhel Pops RECIPE

A different form of a very famous Indian Street food just loved making it and tasting also

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Murmura or puffed rice 1cup
  2. Boiled mashed aloo 1cup
  3. Chickpeas boiled crushed 1/3cup
  4. Finely chopped onion 3tbsp
  5. Green chilli 1
  6. Coriander leaves chopped 2tbsp
  7. Salt
  8. Red chilli powder 1tsp
  9. Chatmasala 1tsp
  10. Cornflour 4tbsp
  11. Sev 1/2cup
  12. Oil for frying
  13. Tamarind chutney for serving
  14. Mint chutney 1tsp

Instructions

  1. Take a vessel and add potatoes, Chickpeas, mint chutney, salt, chilli powder, onions, coriander leaves, red chilli powder, Chatmasala and make a dough
  2. Make a not so thick cornflour paste by adding water to cornflour. Keep aside
  3. Roast puffed rice.keep in a plate .mix sev to it
  4. Heat oil for frying
  5. Dip balls in paste to coat it with puffed rice and sev mix
  6. Deep fry it on a medium flame till they become crisp
  7. Serve with Tamarind chutney
