ABOUT Papaya Soup RECIPE

Papaya has vitamin C. Very healthy and tasty. It is my own recipe

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Ripe papaya pieces 1 cup
  2. Tomato 4
  3. Red chilli sauce 1 tsp(optional)
  4. Black pepper 1\2 tsp
  5. Jeera 1\2 tsp
  6. Lavang(cloves) 2
  7. Sugar 1 tsp
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Milk 1\2 cup.
  10. Corn flour 2 tsp mixed with water (optional)
  11. Butter or fresh cream for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tsp ghee in a pan, add black pepper, lavang, jeera and fry for few seconds and make a fine powder and keep aside.
  2. In a cooker, add papaya pieces and tomato pieces.
  3. Cook for 2 whistles.
  4. After cooling, remove the tomato skin and grind into a puree.
  5. Heat a vessel, add the puree, salt, chilli sauce, sugar, ground powder and boil for few minutes.
  6. Add 1\2 cup milk and cook for few seconds.Switch off the flame. Garnish with white butter or fresh cream.
  7. Note- (If you want the soup thicker ,add cornflour paste and cook again for few seconds and switch off the flame)(this step is option)I didn't add cornflour paste.
