Banana Fritters

Ingredients to make Banana Fritters

  • Plantain 2 (thinly sliced)
  • Wholewheat flour 1 cup
  • eggs 2
  • sugar 4 tbsp
  • salt 1/4 tsp
  • oil for Deep frying
  • water as required

How to make Banana Fritters

  1. Take the wholewheat flour, sugar and salt in a bowl.
  2. Mix them well.
  3. Now in a separate bowl, lightly beat the eggs.
  4. Add the beaten eggs to the flour mixture.
  5. Now add water little by little to get batter of a thick consistency.
  6. Heat oil in a kadai.
  7. Once oil is hot, dip each banana slice into the batter so as to coat both the sides.
  8. And then carefully place them in hot oil, one by one.
  9. Fry until golden brown, flipping the sides at once.
  10. Once done, remove from oil.
  11. And place on a paper towel to drain excess oil, if any.
  12. Serve hot with a cup of hot tea.
