Italian Indian twist of Nachos

ABOUT Italian Indian twist of Nachos RECIPE

It is an Italian dish but I have given a twist of Indian food. Nachos are made from fresh home made rotis. The white sauce that I have used is made with wheat flour. It is a combination of Italian and Indian taste.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 4 - 5 fresh rotis
  2. Oil for frying
  3. 1 tbsp Butter
  4. 1 tbsp wheat flour
  5. 1 cup milk
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Pinch of pepper
  8. 1 onion chopped
  9. 1 tomato grated
  10. 1 tomato chopped
  11. Coriander for garnishing
  12. 1 cup red kidney beans
  13. 3 cheese cubes grated
  14. 1tsp fresh herbs mixed
  15. 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  16. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  17. 1/2 tsp garam masala powder

Instructions

  1. Cut the rotis in diagonal shape and deep fry them till light brown
  2. Soak overnight the red kidney beans. Next day pressure cook it for 8 whistles
  3. Then in a kadai add oil fry chopped onions, till light pink
  4. Then add ginger garlic paste mix well.
  5. Then add grated tomato fry nicely till oil comes out. Then add red chilli powder, garam masala powder, coriander chopped, salt, mix well
  6. Then add the red kidney beans an mix well. Put little water to cook.
  7. Mix well an keep aside
  8. In another pan add butter fry wheat flour till light brown, then add salt, pepper, and milk. keep stirring so that no lumps form
  9. Then add the cheese and mix well till it becomes of medium consistency. Add salt, pepper and mix well
  10. Then take a plate place the fried rotis . Then add the red kidney beans all over . Then spread the white sauce over it. Sprinkle the Italian herbs all over.
  11. Then add chopped coriander, onions, tomatoes all over
