Eggless Pineapple Ombre Cake

Ingredients to make Eggless Pineapple Ombre Cake

  • sugar 1/2 cup
  • Fresh curd 1cup
  • Baking powder 1 1/8tsp
  • baking soda 1/2 tsp
  • Vanilla Essence 1tsp
  • butter essence 1/4tsp
  • maida 1 1/2 cup
  • Milk 2 tbsp
  • oil 1/2 cup
  • salt 1/4 tsp
  • Fresh whipping cream 2 cup
  • pineapple chunks 4 slice
  • pineapple juice 1/2cup
  • Blue colour gel
  • White fondant 50 gms
  • Chocolate shavings for ash

How to make Eggless Pineapple Ombre Cake

  1. Preheat oven at 180°C
  2. Cream sugar and yoghurt till sugar melts
  3. Add baking powder and baking soda
  4. Mix gently and leave for 10 minutes till frothy
  5. Add vanilla essence and oil
  6. Mix
  7. Sift maida twice
  8. Mix into liquid batter
  9. Add salt
  10. Mix gently add milk
  11. Bake for 30 minutes till toothpick inserted comes out clean
  12. Cool the cake
  13. Cut into half
  14. Soak with pineapple syrup
  15. Add fresh cream and pineapple bits
  16. Put the other half of the cake
  17. Cover the cake with left over cream
  18. You can also add colour in the cream
  19. Make ash tray with fondant
  20. Make cigarette with fondant and put some chocolate shavings in ash tray to resemble ash

My Tip:

You can use any fresh fruit like kiwi ,strawberries, grapes etc
