Kaju Khumb Curry

Ingredients to make Kaju Khumb Curry

  • mushroom -500gm
  • cashewnuts-50gm
  • ghee -60gm
  • onion 100gm
  • kalonji -5gm
  • cumin-5gm
  • ginger garlic paste -30gm
  • red chilli powder-1tablespoon
  • turmeric -3gm
  • coriander powder-1tablespoon
  • tomatoes -200gm
  • curd -200gm
  • salt
  • coriander leaves-10gm

How to make Kaju Khumb Curry

  1. Wash and blanch mushrooms
  2. Fine chop onion and tomatoes. Clean and wash coriander leaves.
  3. Heat ghee in a pan add cumin and kalonji and let it crackle .add onion saute over medium heat until brown .
  4. Now add ginger garlic paste ,red chilli powder ,turmeric and coriander powder saute for a minute.
  5. Now add chopped tomatoes and fry until masala leave the oil .
  6. Remove pan from heat add curd and salt and still for a minute. Put the pan back to gas .
  7. Add water approx 100ml and bring to boil and simmer until the oil leave the gravy.
  8. Now add mushroom and simmer for 5 minute
  9. Add cashewnuts and coriander and stirr .adjust the seasoning.
  10. Transfer to plate and serve hot .
