Ingredients to make HUNG CURD RAGI JOWAR PAKORAS

  • Ragi flour /finger millet flour - 1 cup
  • Makka cholam/ jowar flour - 1 cup
  • Rava - 1/4 cup
  • Rice flour 1/4 cup
  • Groundnuts - 1/4 cup
  • Hung curd 1/2 cup
  • White til - 1 tbsp
  • onion (chopped finely) - 2
  • garlic (optional) - 8 cloves
  • Garam masala powder - 1 tbsp
  • chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • salt - to taste
  • oil -for deep frying

How to make HUNG CURD RAGI JOWAR PAKORAS

  1. Take a mixing bowl, add ragi flour, jowar flour, rice flour, rava, chopped onion, hung curd, garam masala powder, chilli powder, white til and required salt. Mix well.
  2. Add a ladle full of hot oil to the dough and mix well.
  3. No need to add water. If you feel the dough is very thick sprinkle some water.
  4. Heat oil in frying pan, add the ragi mixture little by little (like small balls) and deep fry them on medium heat till dark brown or crispy.
  5. Drain the excess oil and serve hot with chutney or ketchup with sliced onion rings.
