All thanks to my Mother for this easy and simple recipe.

Fish Pakora

Ingredients to make Fish Pakora

  • 500 gm fish - cut into desired pieces
  • 1 Tbsp - lemon juice
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 200 gms - gram flour
  • water as required
  • 1 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp - crushed cumin
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 1/4 tsp - soda bi-carbonate
  • oil for deep frying
  • Chaat masala for sprinkling before serving.

How to make Fish Pakora

  1. In a bowl, mix water, flour, red chili powder, cumin, turmeric, salt and soda bi-carbonate and make a thick batter.
  2. Coat each Fish fillet with the batter and deep fry.
  3. Sprinkle with chaat masala and lemon juice
  4. Serve with ketchup or chutney.

My Tip:

Chaat masala gives a good taste
