Ingredients to make Healthy and tasty chicken

  • 500 gm chicken
  • 1 medium sized chopped onion
  • 4-6 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 inch ginger
  • 4-5 slit green chillies
  • 1/3 tsp cumin seesds
  • Chopped coriander leaves
  • 100 gm curd
  • 1 cup warm water

How to make Healthy and tasty chicken

  1. First grind 4-6 cloves of garlic , 50 gm coriander leaves, 1/2 inch ginger, 4-5 green chilly, 1/3 tsp cumin seeds and make a smooth paste.
  2. Heat only 1 tsp oil in a pan, add 1 medium sized chopped onion and stir. When it turns translucent add 500 gm chicken and give it a good stir.
  3. Then add the ginger garlic paste and give it a good stir. Add salt and sugar as per your taste.
  4. Keep the gas on low flame and add 100 gm curd into the chicken and stir until you can see the oil is separating from the chicken.
  5. Add 1 cup of warm water if required and cover it . Cook until the chicken is ready. Garnish with some chopped coriander leaves. You can also put chopped green chilly if you want it to be more spicy and serve this hot. Best is to have it with Roti, chapati or parantha .
