ABOUT CAULIFLOWER NUGGETS RECIPE

Cauliflower ( Gobi) is a special vegetable which goes well in many forms and you can prepare thousands of yummy dishes with gobi and also it is very good for health.We love cauliflower in any form right from gravy to fry .Here is one such easy ,yet tasty nuggets recipe for you.Try it and tell me how it turned out for you.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Cauliflower florets 2 cups
  2. Garlic 12 nos
  3. Ginger 1 inch
  4. Coriander leaves a bunch
  5. Salt 1 tsp
  6. Chilli powder 3 tsp
  7. Egg 1
  8. Poha 1 cup
  9. Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. Boil 3 cups of water .When water reaches boiling temperature add cauliflower florets and boil for 2 mins. Switch off the flame , close the vessel and let it rest for 10 mins. After 10 mins drain the water completely and let it dry for 5 min.
  2. Grind ginger and garlic to a fine paste. Chop coriander leaves to small bits.
  3. Grind poha to fine powder and add a tsp of chilli powder to poha and mix well.
  4. When water is drained completely from cauliflower add ginger garlic paste , salt , 2 tsp chilli powder , coriander leaves and mix well . Finally add egg and mix well. Keep aside the marinated cauliflower for 30 mins or more.
  5. After 30 mins of resting ,heat oil in wide kadai . Take each floret, roll in poha powder once and deep fry in oil.
  6. Fry till golden brown and remove from oil. Drain the oil completely and serve hot.
