SNAKEGUARD SEEDS PAKODA

Ingredients to make SNAKEGUARD SEEDS PAKODA

  • Snakeguard seeds 1/2 cup.
  • onion 1/2 cup (chopped).
  • curry leaves 1 sprig.
  • all purpose flour / Maida 1/2 cup.
  • besan flour 1 cup.
  • Bajji mix 1/2 cup.
  • chilli powder 1/2 tsp.
  • salt as required.
  • oil for deep frying.

How to make SNAKEGUARD SEEDS PAKODA

  1. Chop curry leaves into small pieces.
  2. In a wide bowl add all the above ingredients and mix till no lumps remain.
  3. Add required amount of water and mix to form thick pakoda consistency.
  4. Heat oil in a wide kadai and drop the batter as small balls and deep fry till golden brown.
  5. Remove from oil ,drain the oil and serve hot.

My Tip:

Make sure you use only young and soft seeds.Bigger seeds will be hard to chew. In case you don't use Bajji mix, you can replace it with besan flour, asafoetida , chilli powder and cooking soda(a pinch).
