Grilled chicken with honey and balsamic reduction

Ingredients to make Grilled chicken with honey and balsamic reduction

  • chicken breast 2
  • honey 20 ml
  • Balsamic vinegar 50 ml
  • Salt black pepper 1/2 teaspoon
  • chilli flakes -1/2 teaspoon
  • lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Oregano 1 tsp
  • Few basil leaves
  • tomato 1

How to make Grilled chicken with honey and balsamic reduction

  1. Clean and wash the chicken breast.
  2. Now marinate chicken with lemon juice , salt , black pepper, oregano and chilli flakes and put in refrigerator for 20 minutes.
  3. On the other hand take a pan, put balsamic vinegar and honey together and cook on a low flame until it reduces to half.
  4. Add salt, black pepper, chilli flakes and oregano in it.
  5. Now take another pan, put little oil and grill the chicken breast .
  6. Cut tomato into half and grill it in the same pan.
  7. When done cut the chicken into 2 halves and arrange on a platter. Put the grilled tomato on the platter. Pour honey balsamic sauce over it.
  8. Garnish with basil leaves.

My Tip:

Always use light weight and small breast piece of chicken as it contains less fibre which results in better cooking quality and less chewiness.
