ABOUT Beetroot Loaf RECIPE

A crunchy and tasty snack. It can be shallow fried or deep fried.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 3 boiled potatoes
  2. 2 small beetroot
  3. 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  4. 2 tbsp bread crumbs
  5. 2 Tbsp Cornflour
  6. 3 to 4 tbsp cornflakes
  7. 2 tbsp green chilly paste
  8. 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander
  9. 1 tsp cumin powder
  10. Salt
  11. 2 cubes cheese

Instructions

  1. Grind the cornflakes and keep aside.
  2. Grate the cheese and keep aside.
  3. Boil the potatoes and peel.
  4. Grate the beetroot.
  5. Mix and mash all the ingredients ( potatoes, beetroot, ginger garlic paste, green chilly paste, bread crumbs, cornflour, cumin powder, chopped coriander and salt ).
  6. Take a small portion and shape it as a loaf.
  7. Stuff it with 1 tbsp cheese.
  8. Coat it with cornflakes.
  9. Deep fry it .
