Banana Bhajyas

Ingredients to make Banana Bhajyas

  • 1 very ripe banana
  • salt to taste
  • Pinch of chilly powder
  • For batter
  • besan 3 tbsp
  • Ajwain 1tsp
  • salt in batter
  • turmeric 1tsp
  • Red chilly powder 1 pinch
  • oil 1 tsp
  • Cooking soda 1 pinch
  • water as required for batter
  • oil for frying

How to make Banana Bhajyas

  1. Cut banana into thick pieces.
  2. Add salt to taste.
  3. Red chilly powder
  4. Keep aside.
  5. Now make the batter.
  6. Take besan.
  7. Add salt, ajwain, chilly powder, turmeric powder and 1 tsp oil.
  8. Make a thick batter using water.
  9. Lastly add cooking soda.
  10. Dip the banana in the batter and fry till golden brown.
  11. Remove on a tissue paper.
  12. Serve with lunch.

My Tip:

The more ripe the banana, the better it is. When you have left over bananas you can make bhajiyas and the taste is awesome.
