Gol Gappe Fry

Ingredients to make Gol Gappe Fry

  • Ready packet of pooris to fry (I got hold of one at Delhi Haat)
  • oil to fry
  • 2 small potatoes
  • 2-4 tblspoon imli chatni /maggi imli sauce
  • 1 cup yoghurt, beaten well
  • 2 tblspns green mint chutney
  • 1/4 tspn roasted cummin powder
  • 1/2 tspn red chillies powder kashmiri
  • Bikaneri sev/ bhujia
  • Corriander to garnish

How to make Gol Gappe Fry

  1. Heat oil to deep fry.
  2. Fry the pooris available from this packet .
  3. Chop the boiled potatoes. Break open the pooris and put potatoes into them.
  4. Now add the imli /tamarind chutney.
  5. On these add the beaten yogurt and season with the spices mentioned.
  6. On these add the green mint corriander chutney and the sev bhujiya.
  7. Sprinkle coriander for garnish.

My Tip:

Fry carefully in medium hot oil.
