Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Milk 3-4 ltr
  2. Water 1-1 1/2cup
  3. Dalda/ pure dalda 2-3 tspn
  4. Sugar 4- 4 1/2 scoop
  5. Dry fruits as required
  6. Rice soaked for 5-6 hrs
  7. Saffron 1 or 2 pinch
  8. Green cardamon powder

Instructions

  1. Take a deep wok and pour about a cup of water, then pour the milk into it and keep it to boil.
  2. Add sugar and cardamon powder in it. Let the milk boil at least for half an hour.
  3. Boil it till aroma comes out.
  4. Then cut dry fruits and add it to the milk.
  5. Now grind the soaked rice in a jar. But do not grind it to a paste. It shoul have small particles.
  6. Now add the rice into the milk and cook it well till the rice is totally done and till you get the consistency as you wish.
  7. In between add about 3 tspn of dalda/ pure ghee and some saffron strands.
  8. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  9. Serve hot with puris.
