Ingredients to make Badas (wada)

  • Urad daal 1 cup
  • asafoetida 1 tsp
  • red chilli powder 1tsp
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying
  • ginger crushed - 1 tbsp
  • red chilli /green chilli chopped 4-5

How to make Badas (wada)

  1. Soak daal for 6 hours. grind in the mixer with red /green chilli. Blend to get a thick paste
  2. Mix it properly .add asafoetida and salt in it. mix it so well that when you add a drop of the paste in water, it should float
  3. Make badas with your hand with a hole in center.
  4. Deep fry in oil in low flame so that badas are cooked properly.

My Tip:

Enjoy with sambhar as sambar bada o, don't add spices make dahi badas
