ABOUT Coffee Panacotta with Chocolate Liquer RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 60ml Coffee decoction
  2. 30g Brown sugar
  3. 200ml Cream + 50ml Cream
  4. 2tbsp Chocolate sprinkles
  5. 2tbsp Agar agar
  6. 100g Chocolate
  7. 50ml milk
  8. 1tbsp Rum

Instructions

  1. In a sauce pan mix the coffee and brown sugar and mix until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Soak the agar agar in warm water.
  3. Add in the 200ml of cream and mix again.
  4. On medium heat bring the mixture to a boil. Add in the agar agar and mix until dissolved.
  5. Allow to cool and mix in the chocolate sprinkles.
  6. Pour into moulds to set and refrigerator for at least 2-3hours before serving.
  7. For the sauce - In a separate sauce pan heat the 50ml cream + 50ml milk
  8. Once it reaches a boil, take it off the heat and add the chocolate. Leave it for a couple of minutes and then stir the chocolate until dissolved.
  9. Finally add in the rum. And set aside until ready to serve.
  10. While serving carefully dip the moulds into warm water to de-mould smoothly onto a serving plate..
  11. Pour the chocolate sauce around the pannacotta and serve.
